Girls are required to wear leotards or a t-shirt and shorts with their hair tied up. Boys are required to wear a t-shirt and shorts.

Jewelry, shoes, belts, gum and food are not allowed in the gym.

Parents are welcome to observe any class and are encouraged to do so occasionally to monitor your child’s progress. Coaches are available after class to answer your questions and to discuss any concerns.

Parents, their children and other spectators are asked to watch from the entry area, behind the cordon barrier. We ask that parents no longer watch from the east wall. This provides for less distraction for the gymnasts and coaches and is also a safety and liability issue.

Parents are responsible to provide transportation or find transportation for their gymnast for any meets. The club can share the names of other parents whose gymnast is participating to facilitate carpooling. Sometimes the coach may be willing to transport gymnasts, but this will require the parent to sign a form limiting the coach’s liability.

River City Gymnastics will automatically cancel classes if the Summit Activities Center is closed. Classes will not be automatically cancelled if school is cancelled or let out early. Cancellations due to the weather will be announced on WNAX, KYNT and KK93.

River City Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel any class. It also reserves the right to discontinue a gymnast’s participation if the gymnast is not ready, does not respect club rules or does not pay required club fees.
